Amanda Peet is just like one of the guys. She'd much rather sit on the couch and suck down Cheetos and beer while watching the game as the other women hit the gym and the mall. Apart from her freakishly similar attributes to every male in the world, there's one, little exception: she's outrageously hot. While at Columbia University studying history, Amanda's professor convinced her to study acting under the famous theater professor Uta Hagen for four years. After finishing her professional training, Amanda supported herself with the trivial cash she made off of a Skittles commercial while auditioning for roles in New York.

Starting out in small independent films, which she recalls filming for $75/day, and making guest appearances on popular television shows like "Law & Order," "Seinfeld," "Spin City," "The Single Guy" and "Central Park West," Amanda had to start at the bottom just like everyone else. Her full set of lips and bright, blue eyes must have made the difference in the long run although, sprouting from a no-name actress into a sexy, leading lady overnight. She may be best known for her role as the fanatical rebel in "The Whole Nine Yards" or as the oddly named Jack in the WB series "Jack and Jill," but Amanda was very busy before she got the chance to undress on the big screen. Her less than average performances have yet to garner any recognition as a valuable Hollywood star, but her dashingly good looks have managed to snatch her a spot as one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful Women.
