ALSO: Don't miss Jamie's Girl Next Door shoot from November 2006! All of the photos on this page are featured in her Bullz-Eye layout.

A 5’2” blonde with hazel eyes who started dancing at the age of two, Jamie Eason has a very diverse background. She’s been modeling and competing for more than 10 years, has a college degree and even worked for a roofing company. I’m sure the millions of Bullz-Eye.com regulars, after reading this interview, looking at these photos and visiting Jamie’s website, will be very happy Jamie chose modeling over roofing.

BE: Where is your hometown?

JE: Houston, TX

BE: Do you have any brothers or sisters?

JE: Yes, one older brother, Jason, and a younger step-sister, Katie.

BE: Has your family been a strong source of support in your life?

JE: I have the most amazing and supportive family. My parents always encouraged us to aim high and follow our dreams. They instilled in us that nothing worth having comes easy.

BE: Have they seen you compete?

JE: Yes, they were there when I entered and won my very first natural figure competition in Austin, TX.

BE: How much and what types of cardio do you do?

JE: I do as little cardio as possible. I prefer to eat clean as often as possible instead of doing huge amounts of cardio. When I do cardio, I do 30 to 40 minutes on the stepmill or run sprints, and do plyometrics between sets.

BE: In regards to weight training, can you give us an overview of a typical week?

JE: Here is a sample split I might do when training for a photo shoot:

MON: legs & pylos (no cardio)
TUES: back, arms & calves (40 min. cardio)
WED: chest, shoulders & abs (40 min. cardio)
THU: hamstrings, pylos & calves (no cardio)
FRI: back, biceps & abs (40 min. cardio)
SAT: shoulders & calves
SUN: rest

BE: Do you use a trainer?

JE: Not anymore, but in the beginning I definitely did! Now I just need to be sure I have a great spotter.

BE: The pictures on your website are outstanding. You have a unique look, from facial expressions to body language. Is this something that you practiced or did it come natural?

JE: I think any model would tell you that it definitely takes practice. Some photographers shoot hundreds of pictures in a row and you need to be able to move from pose to pose very quickly while trying to make it look effortless. Facial expressions take practice as well and usually get better over time.

BE: Speaking of your website – well done. It’s put together very well and it’s very user friendly. I noticed you have a member section, but it is still under construction. Why should the readers of Bullz-Eye become a member of your site? What are the advantages?

JE: Well, the plan is to provide live video feed of some of my workouts as well as behind the scenes photo shoot material. In the past I have offered custom diets to people, which I will continue to do, but members of my site will get to see what I eat as well as recipes that I use to stay in shape year round. I will also have occasional contests where members can win items from my store, training sessions and other great stuff. I’ll also have tons of pictures for only my members, as well as a forum where we can chat back and forth. I look forward to getting it up and running very soon!

BE: If the readers of Bullz-Eye.com want to contact you through your web site, will they get an answer?

JE: I do my best to answer emails but at times it can be overwhelming. I will, of course, give priority to members of my site and answer the others as often as I can.

BE: You look very comfortable, not to mention stunning, in all the pictures I’ve seen of you. Do you find it much more difficult to pose with less clothing?

JE: No, it’s funny, after a while even a normal swimsuit will look like granny panties because we get used to so little material.

BE: Some models, because of the beautiful clothes, make up, etc., have said they feel sensual while doing photo shoots. How about you?

JE: Sure! In some outfits and in the right setting, a shoot can make you feel very sexy.

BE: You’ve been in many magazines and recently were on the cover of Planet Muscle. What do you like most about being a model?

JE: I love meeting new people and traveling! It’s also great to have amazing photos as keepsakes for when I get older.

BE: What do you like the least?

JE: Living out of a suitcase can be stressful and the traveling can make it difficult to stick to my diet and exercise routine.

BE: I know you have a 2007 calendar that you launched at the 2006 Mr. Olympia Weekend. How did that go?

JE: It went great! I got to meet tons of fans and signed lots of calendars!

BE: Is the calendar available on your website?

JE: Yes, it’s in the online store.

BE: Speaking of the Olympia Weekend, I was unable to go this year. It’s always such a blast. How did the Fitness Model Search competition go for you and what were some of the highlights for you this year?

JE: I won the model search! I won a $70,000 Flex Wheeler custom designed chopper! I couldn’t have been more thrilled! I landed a few covers and have more coming out. I have so many projects that I am working on, from DVD’s to cookbooks, that I am having an amazing year! I am hoping to continue it into next year and make 2007 even better!

BE: What are some other hobbies you enjoy?

JE: I love to dance, cook, travel and workout. I also never miss an opportunity to go to the lake and water ski or lounge on the boat.

BE: What kind of music do you like to listen to?

JE: I like alternative rock the best but hip hop is the most fun to dance to.

BE: Does music play a big part in your training?

JE: Music can really affect the intensity of a workout. I love having it during cardio especially.

BE: I would like to take this opportunity to ask you a few questions that I think a lot of our readers, being a majority of men, would like to know the answers to.

When you’ve been approached by men, what’s the worst line you’ve ever heard?

JE: Screw me if I'm wrong, but don't you want to kiss me? [And] I like every muscle in your body, especially mine.

BE: What characteristics in a man are a turn off?

JE: Poor hygiene and arrogance.

BE: What characteristics in a man spark your interest?

JE: Confidence without arrogance, strong hands, broad shoulders and a great sense of humor.

BE: With your schedule, do you find it hard to have a social life?

JE: Yes, it can be very difficult with all of the traveling and it’s tough to eat clean if you’re out all the time.

BE: What would be your ideal date?

JE: Something physical like a day of sailing or hiking followed by a romantic dinner.

BE: What is the best way a man could approach you to ensure your interest?

JE: Be genuine. Just be yourself.

BE: What is the number one philosophy you live by?

JE: Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard!

BE: Favorite car.

JE: Mercedes SL 65 AMG or an Aston Martin.

BE: Favorite food.

JE: Beef fajitas, carrot cake, waffles and French toast.

BE: Favorite color.

JE: Turquoise.

BE: Jamie, thank you for your time, and good luck with your modeling and competitions.
