Chillin' at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and sipping on Red Stag from Jim Beam sounds good, right? Well, throw in Kid Rock on the stage and even more Red Stag and it's on! It all took place at The Joint in the Hard Rock and Bullz-Eye was fortunate enough to have been there. If you haven't been to the Hard Rock Hotel be sure to mark it on your list for your next visit to Vegas. Maybe even make a trip to Sin City just to stay and party at the Hard Rock as you will find great music, high energy, unsurpassed style, awesome dining and basically the wildest and most happening pool area in Las Vegas. If you’re lucky enough to make the voyage to the Hard Rock Hotel, be sure to plan a night out at the Body English night club and party with some of the best looking party folks till 4am Wednesday through Sunday!
Most rockers know Kid Rock is a longtime fan of Jim Beam so it came as no big surprise that the two greats hooked up for Kid Rock's 2009 Rock N' Rebels Tour that started in June. The tour visited 25 cities across North America and fifty cents from each ticket sold was donated to Operation Homefront, a nonprofit that provides assistance to America's military veterans returning home to their families. On Saturday afternoon down at the Hard Rock pool area, Jim Beam invited Bullz-Eye.com and other guests to join the legendary Master Mixologist (more like magician) Bobby "G" Gleason (right) who made some incredible mixed drinks with Red Stag and traditional Jim Beam that made our taste buds stand to attention. The all natural "Black Cherry" flavor is slowly and carefully infused into fine, four-year-old Jim Beam bourbon and the following three features are part of their secret. AROMA: Distinctively fruity, without disguising the familiar, rich nose of Jim Beam Bourbon. TASTE: Corn sweetness and mellow oak accented by a hint of black cherry for smoothness and balance. This last one could be the most important – FINISH: Satiny and judiciously sweet, with true bourbon warmth. Some of the most memorable Red Stag drinks from the events were the Rockin' Margarita, Rock-A-Berry Fizz, Red Stag & Cola and my favorite – the straight shot!
Bullz-Eye was at the concert at The Joint on September 19th and Kid Rock put on one kick ass show that had everyone singing and dancing and celebrating America's heroes. Kid Rock played for almost two hours without a break and sounded as good on stage as any CD or download you could purchase. Kid Rock sang, played the guitar, worked the drums, played the piano, did some scratchin' and mixing on the turntables and basically blew the ceiling off the place! The crowd loved it. Bullz-Eye also attended the after party at the Wasted Space Bar off the Hard Rock Hotel lobby. The energy from the concert carried over into the after party with Kid Rock and his crew in attendance. The dance floor was on fire and it was a perfect way to close out one cool night.
Several military families were also on hand to enjoy the festivities courtesy of Jim Beam and Operation Homefront. Kid Rock spent some time with the families and presented a check for a substantial donation to this worthy cause. The Hard Rock Hotel was the perfect venue for the weekend with its five bars on site, cutting edge clothing stores, famous gift shop merchandise, an overall great vibe and as written the hottest pool area one could imagine for pre-concert fun. The fun always starts at the circular bar in the middle of the casino and then continues to all the other fun spots. If you really want to party, it’s one of the best spots in Vegas. Bullz-Eye also learned firsthand why this all-new cherry infused offspring of the No. 1 selling bourbon is on its way to the top spot of the world's bars, clubs and home stocked shelves. The aroma, smooth taste and warm finish are the trademarks of Red Stag that we found very inviting and look forward to enjoying for years to come! Special thanks to Jim Beam for a great weekend.
