Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez has been as close to perfect as any fighter can get.

At 5-11, 170 pounds, the top middleweight contender has a perfect Mixed Martial Arts record of 19-0 and is 6-0 inside the Octagon. A solid all-around fighter, the ground-and-pound is the strength of Sanchez who, at the age of 25, holds victories over Kenny Florian, Nick Diaz, Joe Riggs, and Karo Parisyan.

Sanchez started his UFC career in the original Ultimate Fighter, where he defeated Florian in the finals to earn a UFC contract. Since winning on the show, he has been able to dominate the middleweight division and now has his eyes set on the champion, George St. Pierre.

The only thing standing in Sanchez’s way is another fighter from the reality series, Josh Koscheck, who Sanchez will face at UFC 69: Shootout on April 7. Sanchez already holds a victory over Koscheck during the Ultimate Fighter, but both fighters have evolved their skills and on April 7, fight fans will see a much different style from both men.
